We had an action-packed, fun-filled Easter weekend. My niece, Megan (Carson’s very favorite person), stayed over for a girl’s night on Friday. I dropped my phone in the toilet before the we could even start, so we spent most of the evening at the AT&T store getting me a new phone and trying to save my contacts and pictures (nothing survived the toilet bath!). We did manage to paint each other’s nails and do each other’s hair before crashing for the night. We’ll have to do a make-up girl’s night sometime soon!
Carson LOVED having Megan stay overnight! He was so happy to wake up Saturday morning to see that she was still there. Megan is so cute with him, too.
We went to Thanksgiving Point for an Easter egg hunt. Very crowded, but a fun time. We then went up to This is the Place Heritage Park for opening day of baby animal season. We got to hold baby chicks and bunnies, baby lambs were wondering about, and they had a little teacup pig—so cute! The kids also got to ride a pony and did a few Easter crafts. We finished off the weekend going to Easter brunch on Sunday.
